Further delving into the issue, Alia highlighted Ranbir's perspective on public opinions. "Ranbir says this, ‘Alia the audience owns you, they can say whatever the hell they want to say about you, as long as your movies are doing well please don’t complain sitting in your apartment in Bandra.'" Regarding the now-controversial anecdote about wiping off lipstick at Ranbir's request, she clarified, "One thing my husband says when we used to go out at night, he used to say 'Wipe that [lipstick] off. Wipe that off.' Because he loves the natural colour of my lips."
