In an exciting development, Pakistani singer Atif Aslam has come out with his first musical offering of the year 2024. Unveiled on Tuesday, the singer’s fans can now listen to Jee Ve Sohneya Jee, title track to the posthumous film. Starring Pakistani actor Imran Abbas and Indian actor Simi Chahal, the film is a much-awaited cross-border collaboration. As per the official trailer, the film will feature a love story between two young Punjabis from both sides of the border. Directed by Thapar and produced by Sunny Raj, the film is set to be a poetic ode to youthful romance against the breathtaking landscapes of Punjab. Atif breathes life into each note, creating a melody that mirrors the captivating narrative teased by the trailer. The film’s title becomes a crooning chorus alluding to a deepening love between the two protagonists. As Atif’s gentle voice underlines the trials and tribulations of young love, fans are invited to root for a union despite borders and boundaries. The song’s music video features scenes from the upcoming film, heightening anticipation among fans. Opening with candid shots of the couple sharing an embrace by the fireplace, the video cuts to an emotional scene of Chahal announcing to leave her lover. Juxtaposing the lush fields of Punjab with visuals of Abbas at his engagement ceremony with someone else, fans can expect the film to chart an unexpected romance between the Ehraam e Junoon actor and Chahal. With Atif’s love song chronicling this anticipated romance, Jee Ve Sohneya Jee is slated for a February 16 release. The Dil Diyan Gallan singer’s last musical endeavour came at the turn of 2023 with Zindagi, an innovative spin on Mehdi Hassan’s Zindagi Mein To Sabhi Pyar.
