 Qi Gong Exercise to Boost the Kidney System

I would like to share with you a qigong routine that can help to enhance the kidney system. 




In Chinese medicine kidney is not only an organ but it also includes the functions of various systems such as the urinary system and the reproductive system it also connects to other organs such as the brain the bones the ear and the teeth

This set of qigong exercise does not only strengthen the above organs but it could even relieve or cure any underlying problems related to those organs so before we begin we should do a warm-up routine if you have your own routine that's fine or if you would like to take a look at my warm-up routine.

Now exercise of qigong for kidneys are as follows, SIMPLE but very POWERFUL

The first exercise 

The first exercise that we're going to be doing is grasp the earth energy.



Let me demonstrate two times, so now you can follow me breathe in we're gonna lift our arms breathe out we're gonna squat down a little bit and breathe in we're gonna pull the energy from the earth all the way to your kidneys and then breathe out relax the point is to grasp the mother earth's energy into your kidneys.

So let's do that again breathe in breathe out breathe in to your kidneys breathe out and when you're pulling the energy towards your kidneys put your intention and your mind into your kidneys so that if you feel that it's warm then that's a great sign let's do it again,

Make your intention in the kidneys, relax let's watch from another angle breathe in breathe out breathe in and tension in the kidneys breathe out relax. Again the speed can vary it depends on the natural breathing everyone could be different so if your natural breathing is a little bit faster or slower then feel free to do so so let's do three more times together. 

For this exercise you can do it on grass but make sure that the grass is not wet and it is dry so that the dampness cannot go into your body.

The second exercise 




The second exercise that we're going to be doing is tapping the kidney pressure point so first of all we have to locate the pressure point so belly button right at the back of the belly button and then a little bit left and right beside it that is the kidney pressure point so we're gonna clench our fist make sure the face is hollow and we're not using any force and then we're going to use the back of the fist to tap the kidney pressure point so here's how it looks like.

Now, the fist is tapping the kidney pressure point and look at my foot as well my foot is up one of my heels are up so that we can use our waist to turn instead of using our hands 

This can activate the kidney system so make sure when we do it we're not just turning our hands but we're actually using a whole body turning off the waist and to tap it relaxing you should feel a little bit sensitive but it shouldn't be too painful for this exercise.

We can do 24 times and 12 times on each of the sides and after doing this exercise you should feel relaxed on your lower back and you should feel the activation of the kidney system.

Kidney is connected to the ears and teeth so that's why the following exercise we're going to focus on the ears and the teeth by stimulating the ears and the teeth it can actually activate your kidney system as well so the first one is rubbing of the ears so it's simple.

We're just gonna use our fingers to rub pull down our ears you should feel warm in your ears we can pull down we can kind of stimulate the pressure point if you feel sensitive that is normal and don't worry we can also pull out in our ears there's actually many pressure points that could relate to different parts of our body so by rubbing the ears it does not only help with the kidney but it helps with a lot of the other organs as well next up we're gonna do a teeth clenching exercise.

This is simple but effective in the old days even the emperors do that. As you can see it's just simple as clenching your teeth together but one thing to make sure is don't clench too hard or else you're going to injure yourself we're just going to clench relaxing and we can do 36 times 

After you cleanse your teeth there is some saliva in your mouth and what you can do is you can swallow it and imagine the saliva goes down all the way to your belly button inside of your belly button there's an energy center that we call dantin in Chinese.

The third exercise 




The last exercise that we're going to be doing is rubbing the kidney pressure point this pressure point is the same as the one that we did before but we're gonna be rubbing it instead of tapping it so here's how it looks like.

Now i feel the warm in the kidneys already and that is activating the system make sure that when you're rubbing the kidneys don't just use your hands you're going to feel really tired what you could do is you're going to be a little bit bouncing and we're going to use the power of the whole body instead of the arms and this concludes the kidney system qigong kidney is a fundamental organ in our bodies and we should be nourishing it instead of over expending it just like the bank account.
