Punjab announces 100,000 jobs in government departments



Recruitment for these jobs has been approved by CM Punjab Usman Buzdar.





Recruitment for 100,000 jobs in Punjab has been approved by the Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar in various departments across the province.

While informing about the vacant positions, Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister, Hassan Khawar told the media that there are 33 thousand vacant posts in Education Department, out of which 16 thousand would be filled in the first phase.

Hassan Khawar further informed that around 1,200 vacant posts are present in the primary healthcare department, 2,900 in specialised healthcare, 2,600 in higher education department, 3,500 as college teachers’ interns, 1,200 in civil defence, 4,300 in prisons department, while 4,800 patwari vacancies are present.

Additionally, 12,000 vacancies would be filled in police and border military police. SACM said that the Chief Minister Usman Buzdar “had taken stern notice of the difficulties being faced by the doctors and also ordered to pay their salaries without any hindrance”.
