Taking to her Instagram stories during a question-and-answer session, Komal shared that she moved out of her family home one-and-a-half years ago and now lives with her best friend and her cat. “I moved out of my family home 1.5 years ago. I now live with my best friend and cat. Family lives close by and sends me homemade food all the time. Best life ever!” she wrote. The actor discussed challenging societal norms by choosing to live independently. “Dear Pakistanis, moving out of the house is not leaving family. Even baby birds fly out of the nest when they can fly. I did not leave my family. I just got my own place. You all should try it. Especially the married ones," she wrote.
