Salman Khan posts gym photos amid new death threat

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan shared photos from an intense workout session just hours after receiving a new death threat. The 58-year-old actor posted two gym pictures on Instagram on Monday, flaunting his biceps and toned physique in a black tank top. The post came on the same morning that Mumbai’s Traffic Police helpline received a WhatsApp message warning that Khan would be killed inside his home and that a bomb had been planted in his car. The caption read simply: “Thank you for the motivation.”         View this post on Instagram                       A post shared by Salman Khan (@beingsalmankhan) Authorities have confirmed the threat and launched an investigation. An FIR has been registered against an unidentified sender, and additional security forces have been deployed outside Khan’s residence in Bandra. This is the fifth recorded threat against the actor in the past two years and follows a 2024 incident in which multiple gunshots were fired outside his home. That attack was linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which has previously issued threats over Khan’s involvement in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. Despite the heightened security concerns, Salman Khan has remained publicly calm. “Bhagwan, Allah sab unpar hai. Jitni umar likhi hai, utni likhi hai. Bas yahi hai,” he said in a recent press meet, which translates to: “God and Allah are watching over. My lifespan will be as long as fate allows. That’s it.” Salman Khan’s Instagram post drew wide support from fans and celebrities alike. Actor Ranveer Singh commented, “HARD HARD,” while Varun Dhawan dropped a fire emoji. One fan wrote, “Tiger form mei aa raha hai vapis,” while others called him “unstoppable” and “ageless.” The post also sparked speculation that Salman Khan is preparing for an upcoming film. Some interpreted the gym photos as a response to criticism following the underwhelming box office performance of Sikandar, which has earned just over ($23.3 million) ₹200 crore globally and ($13 million) ₹109 crore in India.
